Born on August 26, 1964 in Danville, VA she was the daughter of the late John Edward Payne and Nancy Bonner Payne.
DeAnna was a strong daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend. Anytime you needed her she could be found at home watching her HGTV/ Food Network or classic movies and doing her word searches. She had an amazing memory, very knowledgeable, a true trivia buff. She always had a shoulder for you to cry on and plenty of fiery words of wisdom. She fought long and hard with her health, and although at times hard headed, she had a very positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed and honored daily.
She is survived by her remaining sister, Deborah Shifflett; husband, Henry Phillips Jr.; children, Jonathan Rand, Angele Phillips, Jessie Phillips and Heather and Henry Phillips; six grandchildren, Madison, Ayden, Shabazz Jr.,Noe, Adrianna, and Joshua.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations toward DeAnna's memorial and funeral expenses.
