

Deborah “Debbie” Reynolds, age 74, of Stony Point, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2025 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Debbie was raised in Martinsville, Virginia, where she attended Drewry Mason High School. She was an enthusiastic and active member of the Math & Science Club, and her early passion for these subjects led her to pursue higher education at Duke University. There, she prepared for a fulfilling career as a radiologic technologist, combining her love of science with a deep desire to help others.
After college, Debbie settled in Stony Point, where she spent most of her life, deeply connected to her community and devoted to her family. She later chose to dedicate many years to the compassionate care of her mother, a role she embraced with quiet strength and unwavering kindness.
Debbie is survived by her sisters, Christia Reynolds Foley and Nina Reynolds Demarkey; her nephew Jordan Foley and his wife Sydney, and their children MJ and Ronnie; her niece Melea Mayen (Foley), her husband Anthony, and their daughter Flora; and her niece Heather Foley, and Trey Wilson, a cherished companion and helper.
An avid reader, Debbie found joy and comfort in books of all kinds throughout her life. She will be remembered for her steadfast loyalty, gentle spirit, and the loving care she gave to those closest to her.
Memorial service will be held for her on Friday, June 13th at 3pm at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
