Mrs. Doris Nichols Huffman, 88, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. She was born in Wilkes County on October 10, 1928 to the late Urea W. Nichols and Ruby M. Nichols. She was a member of Florida Street Baptist Church.
Doris is survived by her son, Tony L. Huffman and wife Melissa; daughter, Elaine H. Brown and husband Bobby; two grandchildren, Andrew Huffman and wife Jamie and Rachel Huffman of Atlanta, GA; brother, Dean Nichols of Crossville, TN. Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband Arvel L. Huffman; brothers, Ned Nichols, Mack Nichols, Paul Nichols and sister, Otha B. Cannon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407 with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
