Mrs. Ernestine Beal

A funeral service will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Mt. Pisgah Church by Dr. Jeff Johnsen. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ernestine was born October 23, 1936, in Rockingham County, the daughter of Roy and Evelyn Morgan Angel.

Ernestine was a graduate of Kings Business College and worked as an underwriter for Penn National Insurance Company until her retirement. She was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a current member at Mt. Pisgah Church where she was very active. Ernestine was Eastern Star’s grand organist and enjoyed playing the piano. She liked making crafts at Whitestone and will be remembered for her dry wit and dominant personality.

In addition to her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leroy Beal; son, Thomas Eugene Beal, and her sisters, Melvine Adams and Becky Ernest.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, David Beal of Greensboro and Donald Beal of Archdale; sister Maxine Cole of Greensboro; grandchildren, Ashley Moretz and Kenzie and Kylie Beal; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and multiple great nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family asks with gratitude that memorials in Ernestine’s name be made to AuthoraCare Collective, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405 and to Mt. Pisgah Church, 2600 Pisgah Church Rd., Greensboro, NC 27455.
