Dorothy "Dot" Elizabeth Paschal

Dot was born July 14, 1934 in Guilford County, the daughter of Fletcher Edwin and Nellie Odom Paschal. Dot was a member of Cedar Square Friends Meeting and a former member of Spring Garden Friends Meeting and Proximity United Methodist Church in Greensboro. She was also a member of the Tangle Foots Square Dance Club. She had worked for several years at the Greensboro Sheltered Workshop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Frances P. Pons, Helen P. Williams and two brothers, F.E. Paschal, Jr. and Kenneth Paschal.

Dot is survived by her sister, Sybil P. Wood and husband Grover C. Wood, Jr. of Pleasant Garden, two brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Paschal and wife Gail of Greensboro, Joseph Paschal and wife Geraldine of Rural Hall, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Paschal of NJ, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Ben Hurley and Reverend Mike Butler. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
