

Dorothy was a resident of Greensboro for over 17 years and attended Westover Church where she was an active member of the Abundant Life Sunday School Class. Born in Winston-Salem, she was the youngest of seven children born to Wesley and Ruby Mock. Before moving to Greensboro, she lived in Durham and attended the Gospel Center and Grove Park Chapel. She taught Awana and sang in the choir for many years. Throughout her life she loved the beach and often opened her home in Garden City, SC to friends and family. Dorothy loved to entertain and was an excellent cook. Her family especially remembers her biscuits, strawberry jam and deviled eggs. She was absolutely devoted to her husband Kramer.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Owens, Donna’s husband Joseph Owens; one granddaughter, Christi Foxworth and her husband Parker; great granddaughter, Violet; one grandson, Brent Pilson, his wife Marianne Pilson; two great granddaughters, Elise and Lily. Other surviving family members include Dale Pilson and his wife Julia.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Westover Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Theatre Wing of Westover Church conducted by Pastor Bob Voorhees. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery. Following interment services the family will receive visitors at the home of Dale and Julia Pilson, 6 Barrington Dr., Greensboro, NC 27408
