Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel. Burial will follow in Westminster Gardens.
Miss Cottrell was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Cordelia Cottrell; seven sisters and brothers; and a nephew, Earl K. Anderson.
Miss Cottrell is survived by nieces, Sondra Allred and Lynn Brown; nephews, Jimmy G. Anderson, Danny K. Anderson, Larry Cottrell, Glenn Cottrell and Marvin Cottrell.
