Mrs. Eleanor Stadler Puckett

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel.

Mrs. Puckett was a native of Burlington, the daughter of Monroe James and Lucy Glenn Stadler, and was a life long resident of Greensboro. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Puckett graduated from Woman’s College (now UNC-G) and retired as assistant to president of Norvell Tent and Puckett Supply Company. She enjoyed playing Bridge and traveling. Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lew Puckett.

Mrs. Puckett is survived by her brother, M. D. Stadler and wife, Marion of Burlington, sister, Patsy Schumacher of NY, NY, and brother, Gordon E. Stadler and wife, Cindy of Oak Isle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eleanor and Lew Puckett Memorial Endowment of the Boys and Girls Home of NC, PO Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
