Elizabeth Diane Friddle

Elizabeth Diane Friddle, 69, of Greensboro passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at her residence. She was the loving wife of George Hobart “Bart” Friddle. Born on August 20, 1955 in Greensboro, she was the daughter of the late JC Alley and Peggy Ann Beal Alley.

Diane was a strong and determined woman, who did anything she wanted to. Before she met and married Bart, she answered an alter call at a Seventh Day Adventist Church. As her husband was a minister, she was a devoted pastor’s wife. She loved arts and crafts and puzzles. Before her accident, she was an adventurous woman. She loved her two sons and grandchildren very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tom Friddle who passed in 2015; three brothers, Lacy, David and Vance; and two sisters, Vicky and Brenda.

Diane is survived by her husband, Bart Friddle; son, David Friddle; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Pastor Nick Scandale officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 10 am. Interment will be at Flat Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6720 US 158, Stokesdale, NC at 12:30 pm.
