Elizabeth Chandler Chambers Pittman 1961-2025 went by Beth, but her favorite title was undoubtedly grandma. Elizabeth Chandler Chambers Pittman, 64, of Greensboro, North Carolina died at Camden Health and Rehabilitation on July 13, 2025.
Beth was born in Wilson, North Carolina in 1961 to Adair Edward Chambers Jr and Betty Jean Cash Chambers. She went to Grimsley High school before studying accounting at Catawba College, where she got her bachelor’s degree. She was mathematically gifted, a true whiz with numbers.
Beth is survived by her three siblings Alan Chambers (Tania), Anthony Chambers (Heather), and Elaine Chambers (Todd Miller); nephews Richard Chambers, James Chambers, Bryce Chambers; and nieces Lauren Chambers and Hazel Chambers. She was predeceased by her sister, Ann Lynn Chambers and her parents Adair Edward Chambers Jr, Betty Jean Cash Chambers. Also surviving are her son Jonathan and Emily (John) and grandchild Katie Grace Hinson.
Beth's favorite role was being a grandma and loved spending time with her one and only granddaughter Katie Grace. Everyone who knew Beth knew how much she loved to cook, crochet, and was an avid reader. She loved to show Katie Grace how to cook and fueled her love for reading. While she valued her solitude, she cherished her close relationships with a select few, offering unwavering loyalty and deep understanding.
Beth will always be remembered for her laugh, feisty spirit, and generous heart. May her soul find eternal peace, she will be truly missed.
Her life will be celebrated at 11 AM, July 19, 2025 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst
