Barbara, so sorry to hear the loss of your mother. My parents were Margaret and Frank Garner who were great friends of your parents for many many years. I always enjoyed them and your Mom was so helpful to me during many trying times and good times too. She gave me a bridal shower many years ago. I remember many times going to lunch with the ladies' lunch bunch and sometimes Monday night dinners at the cafeteria. Your Mom always was so positive, smiling and laughing. She was a jewel!

Elsa and I have been close friends for 75 years. Our children grew up together. We have wonderful memories. Elsa was a beautiful lady, and I will always treasure our friendship. Barbara, I am so proud of the loving care that you and Ben gave to Elsa when she needed you so very much. She loved you so much. Blessings be on you.

R.I.P. Aunt Elsa Troxler.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you never went alone,
for a part of us went with you,
the day God took you home.

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories could make a lane,
we would walk right up to heaven,
and bring you home again.
We love you aunt Elsa
sleep well in heaven with the angels.

Elsa was my older sister by 15 years. She was a gift to me all my life.
I could not have wished for a move loving, stable, intelligent and wise soul than Elsa. She was gifted with an enormous amount of common sense and decency. As a teenager, Elsa and her husband to be, Bill, carried me with them all over. I was then a yappy little character unable to walk and in a body cast due to birth defects. Those acts of kindness to me then were harbingers of the kindness Elsa & Bill showed me all my life. Her passing leaves a hole in my heat. Her daughter Barbara aided by Barbara's son Ben loved and cared for her in her later years with a passion and devotion that was heroic. I have added a picture of Elsa, sister Jean and me.
