Faye Brewer Willard

Faye Brewer Willard, 86, a resident of Greensboro went home to her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Friday November 20, 2015. Faye was born in the Eagle Springs community of Moore County, the daughter of Lacy Clyde and Lola Edith Bailey Brewer.

Faye retired from Sears & Roebuck after 40+ years in the Catalog and Mail departments at the Lawndale location in Greensboro, NC. She was an active, lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.

She was married for 60 years to the love of her life, William Oscar “W.O.” Willard, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2010. Faye was also preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, James C. Brewer and Edwin A. Brewer.

She is survived by her son, Barry Willard and wife Cathy of Greensboro and three grandchildren, Katie, Emilie, and Bailey Willard.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. Robert Brewer. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:30 until service time.

The family wishes to give thanks to Immanuel Baptist Church and Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for their kindness and care shown to Faye and her family.
