Throughout life Florence developed a passion for traveling. She traveled to many places including various islands and various states throughout the US. Her love for travel proved to be beneficial for her. The experience exposed her to new cultures; she became bilingual and more importantly it made her wise beyond her years. In the end she would make New York City her second home as she ended up spending the majority of her years there.
She had a close relationship with god and was very active in the church. Those who knew her could always find her in church or traveling to spread the word of the lord. As she would say “always put god first and everything falls in place” She eventually connected her love of experiencing new places with her devotion to god and took her evangelical work everywhere she could. She had psychic like intuition, a keen sense of wisdom and a tender heart.
Florence is survived by her three children Talib Bomani, Beverly Lettsome and Renee Presley; Nine Grandchildren Edson Francis, Nicole Francis, Andrea Bomani, Amanda Francis, Akeem Morton, Tais Bomani, Joemoi Melendez, Chaiya Matthew and Serenity Presley; Three Great –Grand Children Victoria Bomani, Vanity Bomani and Nkori Francis; Four Sisters Jean Norris, Janet Allamby, Urlene Lettsome and Carol Allamby and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
