

Floyd Marvin Isley Jr, 78, of Randleman, NC passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1947, in Guilford County, NC. Floyd enjoyed old cars, going to cruise-ins with his 1963 Impala and was known as “Chevy Man”.
Floyd was a truck driver for Carolina Steel for 20+ years and retired driving from various pipeline companies. He was a hard worker and someone that could be counted on at any time of need. He enjoyed spending time with family and taking trips to the mountains and beach.
Floyd was preceded in death by his father Floyd Isley Sr., mother Annie Frazier Isley Shaw, three sisters; Virginia Humphrey, Mae Guinn, Ladona Frazier; two brothers; Johnny Isley and Danny Isley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce Isley, daughters; Angie Slaght (Byron), Debbie Sykes, Jeanie Howell (Pete), JP Sykes, three brothers; Walter Isley, James Isley (Debo), Luke Isley, eight grandchildren; Ashley Chase, Nikkie Sykes, Kadie Cheek (Daniel), Courtnie Shrewsbury (David), Robbie Howell (Kaitlyn), Britney Slaght, Nathan Howell (Addison), Elizabeth Barker (Timothy), great-grandchildren; Adalyn Chase, Hayden Chase, David Shrewsbury, Malaki Chase, Silas Cheek, Moss Howell, Abishai Shrewsbury, Allison Barker and expecting two great-grandsons Calvin Howell and Wyatt Howell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 pm, Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407 and other times at the home of Pete and Jeanie Howell. Graveside will be 1:00 pm, Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
