With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frances "Frankye" Blackburn Crump on October 22, 2026. Born on January 10, 1947, Frankye lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering dedication to her family.
To know Frankye was to know kindness, strength, and a heart that always put others before herself. She was the steady foundation of her family, offering love, wisdom, comfort, and encouragement through every season of life. Her greatest joy was found in the people she loved most.
For more than 50 years, she shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, building a marriage rooted in love, commitment, and cherished memories. Together they created a family that was the pride and joy of her life. She leaves behind her husband William Crump; her two sons, Bayard and wife Ellie, Zachary and wife Caitlin, and her five treasured grandchildren, Collin, Miles, Amelia, Siena and Liam, who brought endless happiness to her days and whom she adored beyond measure.
Frankye was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Blackburn, whose love and values she carried with her throughout her life. She is survived by her brother Eddie Blackburn and his wife Ann, her sister Charldene Blackburn Noll, and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Whether through a warm conversation, a helping hand, a comforting hug, or simply her presence, Frankye had a special way of making people feel loved. Her family will remember her for the countless sacrifices she made, the traditions she cherished, the lessons she taught, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
The world feels a little less bright without her in it, but the love she poured into her family will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and all those blessed to have known her.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
