Frances “Louise” Jefferson, 89, originally from McLeansville, NC and most recently of Supply, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, surrounded by her three sons: Randy (Penny) Jefferson, Ronnie (Kim) Jefferson, and Tommy (Kammy) Jefferson.
Louise is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, with another expected in December, along with her sisters, Jeanette Apple, Dorothy McKinney, and Marie Thomas.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Hubert “Edward” Jefferson; her parents, Martin and Alberta Hill; brothers, Ed Hill, Herbert Hill, Roy Hill Sr., and Sonny Hill; and sisters Catherine Dermott and Ethel Wicker.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 10:00 until 11: a.m., at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27401, on August 11, 2026. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jimmy Perryman, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Lebanon Baptist Church on Hicone Road in McLeansville, NC.
