Frank was born on January 26, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY. He was a man of quiet strength, boundless compassion, and unwavering integrity. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many with his kindness, wisdom, and gentle humor. He was the cherished husband of Thelma Vitiello, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Their love was a true partnership—one built on deep respect, laughter, shared dreams, and enduring support. Frank worked as a NY Times pressman for over 30 years where he was revered by his friends and colleagues. Frank had a love for baseball, especially the NY Yankees.
Outside of his work, Frank dedicated his life and love to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma, his children, Ciro (Jerry) Vitiello (Denise), Frank Vitiello, Jr (Kerri) and Angelina, and his grandchild, Kirsten.
A memorial service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on August 15, 2025, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407. A simple reception will follow. All who know and love him are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Beacon Place at AuthoraCare Collective-Hospice of Greensboro, NC in honor of Frank Vitiello.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts. We are grateful for the time we had, the memories we shared, and the love he gave so freely.
