Fred Clinton Houston

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 11:00 am at Lawndale Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Joe Giaritelli, Rev. Curt Dean and Rev. Marion Boling. Family visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.

He was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Henry and Ethel Houston. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Korea. He was employed by Western Electric (AT&T, Lucent Technology) for more than thirty-four years.

Fred is survived his wife, Marjory Houston; son, Stan Houston; daughter , Christina H. Rouse and husband Jeff all of Greensboro; grandchildren, Alex, Patrick and Andrew Suits, Dylan and Zach Rouse; two great grandchildren, Avery and Parker Suits; and a special niece Linda McMahan.
