Greensboro, NC: Mr. Gordon Kerry Lynch, 62, died Tuesday at Cone Memorial Hospital. His memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Fellowship Presbyterian Church where he was a member.
He was the son of the late Hilda Sadler and Gordon Elmo Lynch and was raised in his home town of Oxford, NC. Following high school he did additional studies for 2 years before joining his career path. For several years Gordon was the general manger of Journeys Inn of Greensboro and Raleigh and then purchased 2 motels in N. Myrtle Beach and the Tom O’Connor Florist.
Surviving Gordon are his sisters, Martha Lynch Overby and husband James of Greensboro; Cathy Lynch Hasty and husband and Dwight of Holden Beach, NC and nephews Michael James and Zachery Gordon Overby.
