Mr. Harry William Wilson, 72, a resident of Greensboro died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born September 4, 1939 in Guilford County, the son of James Carl and Emma Nora Bowman Wilson. He was a carpenter by trade and was of the Baptist faith. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter, Brenda T. Medaris.
Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Heath Thomas Wilson of the home; three step-daughters, Betty Rivera of Greensboro, Vicki Mooney of High Point, Jean Smith of OR; one son, Mike Wilson of High Point; one sister, Ruby Evelyn Meadows of Lumberton; one brother, Steve Garland Wilson of Greensboro; one grandson; four step-grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by Pastor C. J. Kivett. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will recevie friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
