Helen Fields Daniel

Helen Jean Fields Daniel, 73, a resident of Pleasant Garden died Friday morning May 13, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. She was born December 18, 1937 in Greensboro a daughter of Roy Clark and Julia Causey Fields. Helen was employed for 45 years with Sears on Lawndale in the Catalog Dept. while working part-time for Krispy Kreme for 13 years. Helen was a member of the Single Squares, Square Dancing Club in Greensboro. She was member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son and her brothers, Clark Fields, Sr., Sammie Fields and J.C. Fields.

Surviving are three daughters, Kathy Daniel Clapp and husband Phil of Julian, Patricia Daniel Moorefield and husband Roger of Snow Camp, Billie Jean “B.J.” Daniel Towe and fiancé Billy Ayers of Julian; one sister, Bessie Sizemore Keel and husband Earl of Greensboro and three grandchildren, Matthew Shue, Daniel Moorefield and Chasity McMasters.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Mike Barrett. The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
