A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Buffalo Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jesse Bledsoe officiating.
Mrs. Strickland was born on March 4, 1923 to Rollin and Lillie Mae Ward Clapp in Greensboro, NC. NC. She was member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, the Quota Club, and Sedgefield Woman’s Club. She was the owner of Henrietta’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Henrietta is survived by her husband, George Howard Strickland; and daughter, Reena Strickland and husband Tommy Oakley; grandchildren Caitlin, Clay and Casey Long; sister, Nancy Coble and brother, Rollin L. Clapp, Jr.
