Dear Joan. Sooo sorry to learn that Henry passed away - from the same thing that claimed my brother’s life. I know, first hand, that it has not been an easy journey. 

I have a lifetime of happy memories of Henry (and you), starting at Woodbury and continuing at the beach. Our nickname for him, Happy Henry, was spot in!!

Pls accept my love, my prayers and my very deepest sympathies.

We have loved our driveway & porch visits with Henry & Joan at Oak Landing, and it has been an added joy to meet many of you. 

Henry's funny side was evident even though his body was declining. He went out of his way to greet us and treat our grandchildren with kindness. We shared an appreciation for family and old friends. We already miss him. 

On a personal note, we admired and respected the obvious love, gentle care, and tireless devotion Henry and Joan shared. She was an incredible caregiver. We love you all.
