Hilda Hoover

Orlando, FL – Hilda Hoover, 72, formerly of Greensboro, NC passed away on November 16, 2012 in Orlando, FL.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday, November 24, at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm Chapel, with interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hoover was born August 4, 1940 in Greensboro, NC, to the late Ruben and Annie Ross Cable. She was a disabled homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hoover. Survivors include two sons, Ray Cable of Austin Texas and Earl L. Hoover, Jr. of Greensboro; two daughters, Linda Baker and her husband James of Orlando, FL, and Patricia H. Black and her husband Chester of Lyman, SC; sisters, Esther Campbell of Fort Worth, TX and Josephine Chrisco of Greensboro, NC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Home of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, FL or to the Arthritis Foundation.

The family will gather at 1913 Way Street.

Hilda was a special person.. I was working with her at the nursing home prior to her transferring to Florida. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

this is david archer son of gladys hoover archer they were sister in laws and to the family im sorry she was a very friendly and funny lady her and jack used to come down and get grapes every year and make jelly and bring us some yum yum i will always remember her David Archer and family
