Howard was a one in a million. I will forever remember the stories he shared with me. He was always making people laugh. The wisdom he shared was beyond his yrs. He was a solid Cubs fan no matter how they were doing he continued to support them. He showed a love for his family and friends that is no longer seen today. I will forever hold the time I spent with him in my heart. Praying for his family and knowing that he will be waiting in heaven for us all. Fly high Angel with ur new wings....

Howard was my Dad’s best friend, and therefore my friend for life; He was always the light and life of Dad’s parties with his unique party hats! I loved Howard, and shall miss him until I see him again rejoicing with Dad in Heaven at the feet of Jesus!

Words will never be able to express the loss I feel loosing you my dear friend. The years I spent assisting Howard are forever embedded in my heart. What an honor it was to be with you daily and the pleasure I had spending time with you. Howard shared so many memories with me and each one was a special time in his life. Candy, Bobby and Anna Marie were his pride and joy. Oh how he loved them so. I can never ever thank them enough for the awesome time I spent with their dad and them. There will never be another man as Howard was. He truly was an amazing man. I loved him so and will always cherish my time with him. Much love to you Candy, Bobby and Anna Marie. May God give you peace in this time of sorrow

So sorry to hear of Howard’s passing. He had a sense of realness and warmth that left you feeling you were in the presence of wisdom and strength. I always wanted more time with Howard because you always felt like you were going to leave with more than when you came. Intelligent and understanding, Howard loved people . All people. My children and I missed him so much over the last few years. He was good to us . I will never forget his kindness to me , the ways he showed he cared. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. He will never be replaced. God Bless. Reece, Paige and Kelly Welch
