Our good friend, James Arthur Dillinger, departed this life on August 15, 2022 at the age of 82 at the Meridian Center in High Point, NC. He was born to Arthur and Lois Dillinger in Hampton, Virginia.
After graduation from High School, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned an Associate Degree in Photography. He then joined the U.S. Army where he served from January, 1964 through July, 1967. As a young man he became partners with Rick Tamborino in Studio Three, a prestigious Photographic Firm, in Virginia Beach, VA before relocating first to Greensboro, NC and then Asheboro, NC.
He leaves an impressive body of photographic work, including a book of transformative images of the Holy Hill, Arunachala, located in South India.
His surviving family is Bill and Ann Drummond of Hampton Virginia and their son, Bert, and his family. He is also survived by his former spouse Tara Dillinger of Greensboro, NC and a host of spiritual brothers and sisters of his Spiritual Family associated with the AHAM Community.
We love and appreciate you Jim. May the Peace and Joy of Everlasting Life be with you.
And so it is!
