

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church, 617 North Elm Street, Greensboro.
Jim was born April 19, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA to the late James Nelson Morgan, Sr. and Claire Rothwell Morgan. He graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia, PA and Drexel Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. For over 30 years, he was the President of ICBT, a French textile machinery company.
Jim loved traveling the world and appreciated fine wine and fine food. He loved meeting people and all would agree he never met a stranger. He was completely family-oriented and especially enjoyed his home in Bonita Springs, FL.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sally Morgan; daughter, Kathy Geoghegan and husband Brian of Great Falls, VA; sons, Jim Morgan and wife Meredith of Leesburg, VA, Rick Morgan and wife Leslie of Greensboro; grandchildren, Ellie, Jake, Abby, Lexi, Zach, Brooke, Drew and Emma; and his sister, Nancy Curley and husband Joe of Vista, CA. Also surviving is a loving extended family.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Richard Aronson for his wonderful care of Jim, and to the nursing staff at 6 North at Moses Cone Hospital.
