James E. "Skip" Parrish

Skip was born in Siler City, NC in Chatham County and graduated from Jordan Matthews High School. He was owner/operator of Parrish Building Maintenance for 17 years, until his retirement in 2003.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Parrish and his mother, Louise Darden Parrish.

He is survived by his four daughters, Jennifer Starke, Lisa Parrish, Michelle King, and Natalie Parrish, all of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Brandon Paschal, Michael George and Hannah Paschal, also of Greensboro; and one sister, Brenda Coward of Mooresville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16th, 3:30 PM at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel, with the Rev. Chan Shaver officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday March 15th at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm St.

Skip’s family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Frank Hairr, Dr. Burney and Allison Tilley for their care and support during his illness.
