A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Greensboro.
Mrs. Coffer was born on December 5, 1921 in Fulton County, Georgia to the late Linton Stephen Lewis and Rushie Wood Lewis. She was a life-long member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Coffer was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Coffer, Sr.; and two sisters, Mary Haynes and Rushie Lewis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Robert Thomas Coffer, Jr., of Savannah, GA, Elizabeth Turley and Rushie Cruickshank, both of Jamestown, NC; grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Neil and Leslie; and 8 great-grandchildren.
