Mrs. Jane Austin Sparrow

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Sparrow was an active member of Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church and the Adult Seniors Sunday School Class. She was a wonderful housewife and mother with a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She had a great interest in world missions. She also sang in the Voices of Experience choir at Lawndale Baptist Church for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, quilting and spending time outdoors. Mrs. Sparrow was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Franklin Sparrow.

Mrs. Sparrow is survived by her daughter, Teresa S. Clodfelter and husband, Eddie Holden Clodfelter, grandchildren; Ryan Holden Clodfelter and wife, Angela, Ehren Austin Clodfelter, great-grandchildren; Luke Holden Clodfelter, Caleb Ryan Clodfelter and Logan Joy Dailey.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St. is assisting the family.
