What a beautiful person inside and out that heaven has gained. Your big loving heart and wide open arms will be missed. There was never a day that I spent at your house with "Laverne"(Chris) that "Shirley" wasn't treated as if I was your child too. Thank you for loving everyone that walked through the doors of your home. Fly high sweet lady.
Chris and family, my prayers, thoughts, and love are with you all. May God bless you each with a peace that only he can and provide you strength to get through the sad days.

Prayers are with you all. I have great memories with all my cousins.
We spent a lot of time together. I always went with them when General Electric had there family picnic at Nela Park. All the family get to gathers for 1st Communion and graduations and just coming to my mom & dads house for the holidays we really enjoyed those days. Wish we were in contact much sooner in our adult life.
Love & miss you Janet. Now you are with a lot of family .

Dearest Janet. You will be deeply missed. We had many great chats
Your contribution to the hat making projects at FBC Haw River were much appreciated, especially after you figured out the pom pom maker!!. I know how much you loved the church and how much you loved to attend services, but at least you stayed connected through Facebook when getting out of the house became so difficult for you. I will miss our words with friends games! Most of all I will miss your beautiful smile and sweet spirit. I love you Janet. Please hug my Mom, she's new up there too!

I will miss you very much - always kind, always supportive, always loving. You were a special person. I couldn't have asked for a better mother in-law. You always laughed at my bad jokes. Rest in peace.

Janet and I became Facebook friends through a family member. We shared several calls over the years and fun fb comments and posts about our Lord and Savior Jesus. It was truly an automatic connection. She was a genuine and sweet lady who conveyed much love for family and a deep faith walk. May your hearts be quieted knowing she’s quite happy now. I will miss not seeing her posts but remember her just as if we had spent a lifetime of friendship. I send my deepest and heart felt condolences to the family, and may God’s comforting arms surround you all.

My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family . I really got to know your mom especially when I would go see Susie and I would call and give in depth reports.
I admired her when she would tell me how she knitted little hats for newborn babies. What a gift.
Our conversation were never long ... just enough to know that she was filled with love for her family.

She fought a battle and her battle is done.

I remember you all moving down to NC about the same time as my parents. You were so welcoming and you have a very special daughter who has become a lifelong friend!
