She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Crabtree from Greensboro; ,mother, Katherine Carter from Greensboro; nephew, Dustin "Dusty"Lee Rouse from Archdale and aunts and uncles.
Surviving family is her husband, Jerry D. Smith; three children, Joseph D. Smith, Timothy "Wade" Smith, Courtney M. Smith; nine grandkids, Kinsey Smith, Nathan Smith, Tacoma Smith, Dakota Smith, Justin Smith, Jaidin "Birdie" White, Brennan Smith, Keyon Smith-Baldwin, August Caraway and one great-grandson, Leeightynn Mason Ray Woods.
There will be a private viewing for the family. Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel is honored to assist the Smith family.
