With the heaviest of hearts we send our angel JASEN ROBERT JONES back to Heaven to be with his eternal loved ones. Jasen passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Stacy Alan Jones, all of his grandparents and his uncles, Steve Mills and Timmy Jones.

His passing will affect so many, but mostly his parents, Missy Mills Heckler and his loving step father, Bruce John Heckler along with his brothers Christian Jones and Patrick Heckler, his god son LJ Moses and his sister Carlin, children of James and Carlisha Moses and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jasen was a man with an enormous talent for singing, as most of you know. His personality was as big as his heart and he could always make us laugh. Whether he was singing or telling a story....he just always made an impact.

The family will receive guests during a reception from 6 to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 5 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services followed by a celebration of life at 7:30PM. In keeping with the protocols regarding COVID-19 all attendees are asked to wear a face covering.

Dear Missy and Bruce,

As James' mother, I knew Jasen for many years and I cannot comprehend just how sad you must feel for the loss of your son. This sorrowful time must still feel unreal, and I imagine that you are looking for strength. I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease, that your spirit will gain strength, and that you will find inner peace. Jasen will always be in our hearts and memories.

Deep condolences.

Dawn.

Such a loss for anyone who was lucky enough to know him. He was always funny and full of facts. His smile was infectious. Wearing costumes was more of the norm for him and he could pull off any character type, in style, like no one else. He will be forever in our hearts.

Love you Jasen,
Aunt Marie

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Jasen was a great guy. Our lives went their separate ways after college but during our years at UNCG we made some great memories together. His amazing personality will truly be missed.

He was a man of great integrity! I was blessed to work with him. Was trained by the best! He taught me so much and his sarcasm was unmatched and always had me laughing. I’m gonna miss you bro! Sleep in peace

I have known Jasen since 5th grade. He was always a pleasure to be around, smart intelligent and so handsome. My favorite memory was when he and his family were visiting us at ST Pete Beach. He was being silly and dancing on the beach like a Hula Girl. You will be so missed❤️
