

Jeanette Wade Huffines, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2:00 p.m. at Stokesdale United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Dowdy officiating.
Jeanette was born in Guilford County on February 14, 1928, the daughter of Lyle Berry and Blanche Mann Wade. She was a graduate of Women’s College, (UNC-G) and worked in the Bookstore until her retirement. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister and mother-in-law. She deeply loved her family and she will be missed by all.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husbands, William “Bud” Holder Johnson and Thomas Huffines. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children; Dawson J. Kegley and husband Rob of Rural Hall, NC, Sandra Huffines of Greensboro, NC, Craven “Bubba” Huffines and wife Dawn of Oak Ridge, NC, Karen Landreth and husband Jimmy of Stokesdale, NC, and Lori Huffines and fiancé Michael Conrad of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren; Joshua Gore, J.P. Landreth, Kevin Landreth, Brian Landreth, Hannah Huffines and Haylea Huffines; brother, Vincent Wade and wife Rita and children, Nancy and Anne Berry, all of Greensboro, NC.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to “Ms. Kay” and the staff of Countryside Manor for the loving attention and care given to their mother during her stay at Countryside Manor.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
