Jeanette Oliver McBee

Jeanette Oliver McBee, 80, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Beacon Place. She was born on August 22, 1935 in Guilford County, the daughter of Javie and Virginia Gardner Oliver. Jeanette was a lifelong member of Christ Wesleyan Church and served as the church organist for over 40 years. She worked as a bookkeeper with SPANCO Industries until her retirement.

Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.

Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Archie McBee of the home; daughter, Dawn McBee Saunders and husband David of Pawley’s Island, SC and son, Dayn Clinton McBee and wife Suzanne of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Lauren McBee Ciampa and husband Michael, Taylor Dayn McBee, Stuart Morgan Saunders and Kelly Savannah Saunders; sister, Barbara Oliver Jessee and brother, Javie Lee Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Luther Oliver.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2:00 pm at Christ Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Lewis and Rev. Keith Carroll. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
