Jeffrey Lane Williams

A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel, 515 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27401, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:50 p.m., at the funeral home.

Jeff was born in Greensboro, NC on October 6, 1955, to Rudolph and Helen Williams and worked for T & S Fire and Security for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tending to his flowers, fishing, playing golf, listening to all kinds of music and trips to the beach. Jeff enjoyed feeding and watching birds in the back yard. He would always help anyone in need and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, bonus brother, and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Debbie Reed Williams, son, Nick and soon to be daughter-in-law, Krissy Hartley; granddaughter, Isabella Williams; brothers, Larry Williams (Ginni); David Williams (Candice); bonus sister, Wanda Reed; bonus brother, Tom Reed; bonus family, Wanda Boyette, Naydia White, Malaya Brown, Joe Moseley, and other extended family and friends.
