Jerry was born on May 30, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Albert Dominic Bruno and Margaret Aiello Bruno. He served his country in the US Air Force. Following his service, he always loved working on cars. This would lead to his career working in the aircraft industry. He worked with Northwest Air Lines and retired as a supervisor in the aircraft maintenance department. He always enjoyed football games and continued to work on cars. Jerry was as loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Jerry is survived by his children; Thomas Bruno of AZ. And Jennifer Christy and husband John of Greensboro, NC and Jake Bruno of Tampa, FL; siblings, Mary Ann Palermo of Philadelphia, PA, Natale Bruno of Florida and Phyllis Flocco of New Jersey; seven grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Friday, 3:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Rev. Thomas P. Norris, OSFS officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
