Dear Lori, Rebecca, Joshua and family, I was shocked to hear of Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry at BCBCSC and I got to know a great guy in the short time he worked there. I knew he was a great family man who cared deeply about his family and his faith. He will be missed by all of us who had the opportunity to know him. My best to your and your family during this tragic time in your lives.

I worked with Jerry at BCBSSC. He was very kind and warm. I appreciated his sense of humor. He and I had many great conversations about religion. I learned a great deal from him and will miss his wonderful conversations.

I just heard about Jerry's death from a former co-worker.  How sorry I am to learn of his passing. He and I worked together at BlueCross BlueShield of SC. Jerry always had a way of making me smile. His family was the light of his life. He drew you into his conversation with lightheartedness and humor. He could tell you something with the straightest of faces, and just when he had you hooked, he'd break into a smile and say, "I'm just kidding!" I was truly blessed to have walked a few paces in life with him.  My heartfelt condolences to the Heimann family. I know you will miss him. God speed.

I am very saddened to learn of Jerry's passing.  I had the pleasure of getting to know Jerry over the past few years at Advance Auto Parts and also to have him over to our house as a dinner guest. I am shocked and saddened to learn of Jerry's untimely passing.  It was my first day on the job at AT&T, Jerry walked me around the department and introduced me to my coworkers.  He was a class act in every sense of the word.  How blessed you are to have had him as a husband and father.  I will always remember his warm smile and kindness from the first day I met him. Dear Lori, I want to express my sincerest condolences to you on hearing of Jerry's sudden passing.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of grief.  I met Jerry when we worked together at Capital One and have kept in contact since.  He became known as the "Chocolate Cake Man" when he showed up at our house for dinner bearing the largest chocolate cake I have ever seen for dessert. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry at Advance.  He was a hard and diligent worker, and became a friend as well. He always had a story to share about his famiy and friends, and would stop by to check in, even after our project was completed.  I was sorry to hear of his passing.  He will be missed by all.

I worked with Jerry during the past year or so and got to play golf with him on occaision. He certainly spoke of his family often. He had a knack for helping people understand what is really important in life.

Lori and family, I was so sorry to hear of your (and our) loss.  Although I wasn't working directly with Jerry this past year at AAP, he often came by my desk to talk about his family and we shared stories about our dogs.  What a kind man.  His AAP family will miss him.

I was a recent work associate with your Father  and although you don’t know me, I certaintly got to know all of you through stories and pictures he shared. He was a proud father and husband and I will miss his caring and sensative nature…and his loud laugh.

I worked very closely with Jerry at AAP after he became part of the EDW team.
Jerry was truly an outstanding project manager, but he was an even more outstanding person.  I cannot tell you what a blessing his words of encouragement, his advice and his sense of humor were to me.
I also wanted to share that Jerry spoke of all you often and he always looked forward to getting home each week to be with you.  It was very apparent how much he loved his family and how proud he was of each of you.
