Mr. Jesse William Mills Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Dillon and Rev. Billy McDaniel officiating.

Born in Charlotte, NC, to the late Jesse and Grace Mills, Jesse was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church. He retired from Kmart Distribution Center in Greensboro and was also a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Mills Fields and Linda Mills Pyle; and a brother, Milton Wayne Mills.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Andrea Joyce Penry Mills of the home; brother, Donald Westley Mills of Burlington; and sister, Carolyn Mills Owens of Lineside, West Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
