She was born on June 7, 1990 to Vickie Whittington and Donald Burton. She was a loving mother to her son Hunter, loving daughter, granddaughter and friend. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by Hunter’s father, Bryce Scallan and great aunt Ellen Tuttle.
She and Bryce gave us a most beautiful, precious boy who is loved by everyone that meets him. Jessica loved life, loved to travel and spending time at time beach. She was attending GTCC and working toward an associate degree to graduate in June.
Jessica Is survived by her little boy Hunter, who was her pride and joy; her loving mother Vicki and loving father Donnie; her paternal grandmother, Nana Peggy Burton, maternal grandmother, MA Maw Barbara Whittington; uncles, Roger and Butch and aunt Patty, Jean and Violet.
A Service to celebrate Jessica’s life will be held on Thursday, 4:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a trust fund set up for Hunter Lee Scallan at any Wells Fargo banks.
