JoAnne was born in Greensboro, NC on April 13th, 1952. She retired from Pharmagraphics after 20+ years of hard work and dedication. In addition to her work, she was dedicated to her family and friends and loved spending time with them. She was a devoted wife of 48 years, loving Mother, and Nana. In her spare time, JoAnne enjoyed doing handcrafted, beaded wedding albums and flower arrangements.
Mrs. Prevatt was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Prevatt, her parents, James and Thelma Ore, siblings, Robert Ore, Bobby Ore, and Debbie Edmonds. She is survived by her children, Wendy Lewis and husband Chris of Climax NC, Cindy Williams and husband Robert of Randleman NC, Debbie Lewis and husband Phillip of Randleman NC, and Stephen Prevatt and wife Javanna of Franklinville NC, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister, Kathy Manuel of Kernersville NC, a brother, Lacy Ore of Eden NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on Monday, July 20th, at 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O.Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405, on Monday, July 20th at 1:00 pm.
