The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory Street with a funeral service to be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
JoAnn was born August 30, 1936, in Guilford County, NC, daughter to the late Edgar and Annie Giles. She graduated from Pleasant Garden High School. She worked for American Greetings Card Company and loved gardening. JoAnn was a very devoted member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Gamble and Glenn Flynn. She is survived by her daughter, Annette Fine and husband, Wayne and grandchildren, Heather, Fine and Kayla and Kyle Flynn.
