John Michael Dragovich

Mr. John Michael “Jack” Dragovich, 70, of Haw River, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 5, 2017 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Jack resided most of his life in Ohio and Florida. He moved to North Carolina in 2008. Jack was a kind, loving, caring person to all who knew him. He was a saltwater aquarium and classic car enthusiast.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Mae Dannhardt Dragovich and his sister Beverly Ann Dragovich.

Surviving are his wife, Lori Clayton Dragovich of the home; sisters, Kathleen Mae Fetzer (Michael) of Ohio and Bobbie Wellman (Joe) of Florida; children, John and Tommy Dragovich, Beverly Colwell and Melissa O’Neill, all of Florida; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his two loyal canine companions, Buddy and Savannah.

Memorials may be made in Jack’s name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell County, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27275.
