My Uncle J.B. was the "best". He was loved very much by our family and it won't be too long before we shall be with him in heaven. He was truly one of a kind and appreciated for who he was. He loved the Lord and wanted everyone he came in contact with to know his Lord also. He was not ashamed of the Lord and praised the Lord for what "He" had done in his life. I am thankful for the fact that he had a great influence on my life and how in the early years helped my dad along the way. My phone has stopped ringing and I miss him already. Gerry Holden

I am very saddened by the loss of Uncle Buford. He was my hero in my young days. He was a great patriot and a good man. Janice, I know you will miss him and my prayers are with you.

Heaven is a sweeter place because of my great uncle Buford joining so many who have gone ahead of him. he will truly be missed. a man who gave so much encouragement to others. I Especially will never forget when he and Sarah sat in thE hospital waiting room for hours while my dad had cancer surgery. growing up he was like a second grandpa for me... always ready to hug and spoil. such a smile and always a joke on his lips. my prayers are with the family who remain.
