Mr. John Cary Turner, Jr., 44, a resident of Greensboro died Thursday evening May 10, 2012. John was born in Durham on March 28, 2012. He was employed in the Quality Assurance Department of Timco Aviation Services Inc. and was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church.
John had a love and appreciation for the outdoors. He had a passion for fishing and playing golf, but his greatest source of pride was his wife Peggy and his daughter Megan.
Surviving are his wife Margaret “Peggy” Wall Turner of the home; his daughter, Megan Whitsett Turner of the home; his father and step-mother, John Cary Turner. Sr. and Louise Turner of Durham; his sister, Angie Turner Arnold of Durham and his half-brother, Curtis Turner of Mebane.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Jamestown United Methodist Church with Reverend Jay Bowers and Reverend Peggy Swann officiating. Following the service a reception will be held in the church fellowship hall.
