Joseph was born on June 28, 2003. He was an extraordinarily intelligent, creative young man who radiated kindness, humility and an insatiable appetite for adventure. Joseph lived a strong, fearless life every day, overcoming and conquering obstacles. He had a heart for the strong and an intuitive sensitivity for the weak. He loved, cared, laughed, and shared his passion in life with those he encountered. Our son, Joseph, is deeply loved and will be immeasurably missed. He ran into our Lord's arms on April 16, 2021.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Carl and Vivian; siblings, Marina, Carl Jr. and Nicholas; paternal grandmother, Margaret Essa; maternal grandparents, Jamil and Eva Joubran; a large extended family of loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loyal dogs, Afifi and Zana.
A Mass of Christian burial and celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, Greensboro, NC. His parents ask in lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Catholic Charities or Greensboro Beautiful.
