Judith "Judy" Frances Adkins Tasker

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Boulevard, Greensboro, NC. A private graveside service for family only will follow.

Judy was born in Pittsylvania County, VA in 1949 to the late John Jack and Omigene Ann Shropshire Adkins. In her younger years, Judy enjoyed drag racing. She loved going on trips to the beach or spending time at the lake with family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved them very much.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Tasker; sister, Joann Moser; and sons, Jesse Tosh and Christopher Tosh.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Lisa Tosh; sons, Doug Tasker and Ricky Tasker; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Debbie Shelton; and brothers, Michael Adkins (Linda) and Jerry Adkins (Phyllis). She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Precious, who was always by her side.
