Greensboro- Justin Gregory Hanna, 31, died unexpectedly at home on July 17, 2014. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 2 PM, Monday, July 21 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 2105 W. Market St., Greensboro, NC 27403, with inurnment to follow in the church urn garden. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Sunday, July 20 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm chapel.
Justin will be remembered as a loving son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He had beautiful eyes that grew even brighter with his infectious laughter and complimented his beautiful spirit. Music was his outlet and joy and when with friends music was always their way of coming together. His father and brothers will remember numerous trips to Utah to snow ski which was a passion of Justin’s along with photography, rock climbing and writing music. Organic gardening was just one of the ways Justin expressed his need to sustain and preserve our Earth. He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School, received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Applied Technology from Appalachian State University and was presently taking instruction on massage therapy at Body Therapy Institute in Siler City. His mother, Kathy, will always cherish the memories of the mischievous, fearless and curious youngster who loved his family and always expressed a willingness to succeed.
Justin will be missed by his parents, George E. (Charlyne) Hanna Jr. of Summerfield and Kathy Wagner Hanna of Greensboro; brothers, Alex Hanna of Greensboro and William Hanna of Summerfield; maternal grandmother, Ann McClure of Archdale; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend, Ashley; and constant canine companion, Fozzy.
