She was the daughter of the late John Thomas McKibbin and Mildred Ruby Heiler McKibbin and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Romanelli and Mildred Schick; and her brother, John McKibbin.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Deardra Coe (Dwayne) and Kathleen Bryant-Martin (James); grandchildren, Danielle Bryant, Deanna Bryant, Braxton Martin, Savannah Ball (Nick), Jacob Boone (Savannah), Luke Coe (Savannah), and Caleb Coe; great-grandchildren, Abby Russo, Aiden Russo, Levi Ball, Joshua Boone, Isaiah Boone, Kelsey Boone, Madison Jarvis, Jenson Coe, Joseph Obrecht, and one on the way; sister, Deborah Johnston (Alan); special niece, Alison McKibbin; and many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen will be remembered for her loving and giving personality; she loved everybody, especially her family. She had a very close relationship with all of her neighbors and she cared for them dearly.
A memorial service to honor Kathleen's life will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Westlake Townhomes, 211 Village Lane, Greensboro, NC 27409.
