Kathy Petree Everhart

Kathy Petree Everhart, 68, of Jamestown, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 16, 1958, in Guilford County, NC. Kathy was a 1980 graduate of UNC Charlotte with a degree in accounting. She retired from Syngenta after forty-two + years of service. She was kindhearted, always thinking of others, loving and caring and enjoyed knitting (making dish cloths, baby blankets, prayer shawls, and throws for family and friends), doing arts and crafts and spending time with her family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father David Petree.

She is survived by her husband Greg Everhart, sons; Matt Everhart of Charlotte, NC, Andrew Everhart (Lisa) of Salt Lake City, Utah, grandson Kylo Everhart, mother Gerrie Petree of Greensboro, NC, sisters; Jan Williamson (Steve) of Jamestown, NC, Susan Creed (Sy) of Greensboro, NC, brother James Petree of High Point, NC and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with family wishes, a private family gathering will be held at time of interment.
